“But aren’t you freaked out about everyone seeing your body’s flaws?”

As a naturist, I actually freak out less about that stuff. It’s helped me cope with body issues – and it’s helped me accept the growing baby bump. As odd as it may sound, it was through revealing everything that I realized that people have nothing much to hide.

Words from a feminist. There’s nothing about feminism that inherently requires opposition to nudity. What feminism insists on, if I understand it properly, is simply that women should have as much control over their lives and their bodies as men do ? no more, but no less either. This includes the right to enjoy nudity ? without either disrespect or harassment. I can understand how it’s difficult for women to enjoy social nudity if they don’t feel secure about having control of their bodies.
